VAERFT Cocktail Bar at Pier 5 Hotel is looking for bartenders

Pier 5 Hotel accommodates both business travelers, groups, and vacationers from all over Scandinavia and boasts a highly central location on Aalborg's harbor front with a beautiful view of the Limfjord.

Pier 5 Hotel is the place to relax with friends and family, but it's also the place to enjoy a fantastic cocktail in a bar with international ambitions. The hotel has 154 rooms with luxurious facilities and a modern design in the lobby and lounge area, creating a unique atmosphere.

We are currently looking for bartenders for our urban cocktail bar, VAERFT. The positions will be part-time and hourly, and weekend work can be expected.

As a bartender at VAERFT, you will be part of a cocktail concept with high standards. We've set the bar high from the start with innovative cocktails, and now we're moving fast with events, innovation, and a busy bar full of guests – that's why we need passionate hands ready to learn and work hard! Previous experience as a bartender is not necessary, but a curious mind, a willingness to learn, and an interest in flavors and cocktails are a must.

We have a high level of service, and we expect you to have a flair for providing authentic and personal service to our guests.

The job includes the following responsibilities:

Hospitality and guest service Bar setup and pizza bar on selected days Sales and upselling of cocktails, wine, beer, etc. Clearing tables and washing dishes Guest service in the hotel's welcome area

Expected hours per week: 8-16 hours, with a minimum of every other weekend.
